Like a beast trapped and caged

At the edge,
Ready for the end. . .

Rise Again
I am the coming.
I am the returning. . .

Endless Highway
I drive this road along a canyon
The miles tick away. . .

Lifeline
With a lifeline I cling to
I stare out in longing. . .

Bury Me
Mother feeds me, she seeds me.
She warms her children, draws them strong. . .

Fiction on the Wall
All my life I’ve been staring at this wall
And reading the writing, a story for the ages. . .

Statue of Bronze
A war between copper and tin
Shredding a statue of bronze. . .

We Took a Life
Another life we ended today
Its light washed away. . .

The Man Asked For
I’m banging on the glass to catch your eye.
Or am I just curled up on the floor. . .

Take You Back
If I could, I do pray,

A silent gate, black and cold,
Open to some, but not to all. . .

In the mountains long ago,
Amongst all the stone and snow. . .
