I have been terrified of tornadoes my entire life, one of my biggest fears. Because of that, this film was utterly terrifying to me. I watched the new Purge recently, which I don’t think I posted a review for for some reason, and this movie was way, way more terrifying. Getting past the fact that I am now watching the skies constantly, it was pretty good. I like the way it was done, mostly through the cameras the characters were using. It definitely made it feel real. The story felt real as well, as did the characters and, as far as I know, so did the storm. The effects made it very much real looking, which only made it that much worse.

So basically, if you find tornadoes and storms interesting, feel free to watch it; if you find them terrifying, watch it if you like scary movies.
