This film was enjoyable, and a step up from the first. It is definitely better than any of the older films, but not quite to Avengers status. It is a good film, but not the best Marvel Studios can give us. Now that I’ve said that a couple of times I can give a bit more detail. Like all Marvel films there was humor and there was drama. I can definitely say there is some slight emotional whiplash attached to this one. That is a pro, not a con. The feel of the movie was pretty good as well, I have little to say negatively about the acting or shots. There were times when it didn’t feel quite real however, aside from the whole ‘superhero’ thing obviously. A couple of places some comments and humor seemed completely out of place and the characters felt fake once or twice. But that was only a couple of times, the rest of the movie was amazing.

So yeah, go watch it, but don’t expect Avengers.
